A Call for Exhibitors

The National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) will be hosting its 6th annual conference, Energy for a Sustainable and Secure Future on January 26-27, 2006, in Washington, DC.  This outcome-oriented conference will explore the role of science and technology in advancing energy for a sustainable and secure future.  The conference will address the many essential roles energy plays in our lives today, as well as the potential environmental consequences of energy production and use that may have far-reaching consequences for society and the environment.   

Who Should Exhibit?

This conference is an incredible opportunity for corporations, government agencies, publishers, environmental organizations and others to exhibit their technologies, services, products, programs and initiatives!  Conference attendees represent a wide range of backgrounds, including university deans and faculty, high-level federal officials, and other environmental leaders and decisionmakers.  Past exhibitors include EarthVoice/Humane Society of the United States, Colorado State's USDA UV-B Monitoring and Research Program, Island Press, ESRI, NOAA, and the Department of Defense.  

Exhibitor Fee

The fee for exhibit space (8’ x 10’ booth) is $1100.  A reduced rate of $800 is available for NCSE University Affiliates.

Exhibitor Benefits

The exhibit fee includes 1 complimentary conference registration (admission to plenary sessions and panels, breakout sessions, the John H. Chafee Memorial Lecture and Reception, and lunch on Friday in the Atrium Ballroom). Additional representatives who wish to attend the conference must register and pay the reduced conference registration fee of $200.

Conference Location and Information

The Conference will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC.

The federal government has a major presence, with EPA and USAID in the building and NOAA across the street.  Exhibitors and conference attendees can also take advantage of the many hotels and events in the downtown area.

Thursday, January 26, 2006       8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Friday, January 27, 2006           8:00 am to 1:00 pm

The exhibit is located in the Amphitheater foyer, immediately adjacent to the main conference hall and most breakout session rooms.
